By and large, it was fantastic base for sightseeing in Zermatt, had much fun. I liked that there was a bathtub. In addition, free WiFi was a plus.
-
This hotel is equal to 4 stars. Marvellous location, comfortable room with amazing views of the mountain. Liked dining at Casamia, set within 5 minutes' walk. Moreover, free Wi-Fi is available.

Everything's okay, it's comfortable.
My file is not working.

The people who work at the hotel was great. The location is nice, near to the train station and near to the gornergrat station. The breakfast was very nice.
The room was old. It needs a reformation (upgrade).
-
location and size of appartment
The advertised restaurant was closed and the standard of the hotel was way below expectations
-
Very close to train station and easy to take the train for glacier express
3th bed room was sitting room without inform in advance. Not fair for customer
-
Non-friendly, non-professional service. Outdated hotel. Price far above average and completely not in line with quality. Worst hotel in years.
-
We liked the swimming pool, comfy rooms. Was very family friendly and the staff was extremly helpful.

I made a reservation at the ambassador for one night then med a separate o One night earlier and got a confirmation of booking. When we arrived they had not received our booking and we had no room. It is apparent that Booked.net did not reserve the earlier night. The hotel was gracious enough to help us find a room at the hotel Miraboux. It was a far finer hotel with both service and accommodations. And the food was exceptional.
-
Place was clean and staff were very friendly and helpful.
Booked a double room and on arrival was told that we were given an upgrade to an apartment. However, once we got to the room, we found that we had been given two single beds. Given the amount of money we paid, only to be given two single beds ... I was not impressed at all.

Fabulous pool
the decor of the rooms was tired and breakfast was very uninsipiring. Also, no cleaning of the room during the week, apparenlty it needs to be requested (!?!)

The staff, esecially Bea (front desk), Zora (front desk), Dragana(lounge) & Willy (Piano player). These individuals were exceptional, with superb people skills. My room was on the top floor and I had an excellent view of the Matterhorn. The hotel is in close proximity to the downtown area and places of interest. An easy stroll to restaurants and entertainment. Upon my departure, it had snowed heavily that night and the next morning it was still snowing. The train station is close but nevertheless, Bea had arranged for free transportation from the hotel, which was a very nice touch. I have already recommended the hotel to my friends and the travel people who helped me with my booking in Zurich.
It may need some remodelling but I have nothing adverse to say. I would return to this hotel if I ever visit Zermatt in the future.

Great location: easy walk to the station and ski bus, restaurants and bars. Good free wifi coverage.
For a 4* hotel at over CHF 500 per night, the room was old-fashioned and tired (brown flower tiles in the bathroom, disused kitchenette area). This is a big hotel that markets its spa - but the sauna is no where near big enough for the number of rooms.
-
Good sized rooms, helpful staff, very near station (we had ski kit for 4 people and managed to wheel our train trolley to the hotel)
-
Excellent location wid helpful staff. Great hotel.
